What is the difference between galvanized sheet and cold rolled sheet?

Galvanized sheet: galvanized sheet refers to the surface of a layer of zinc coated steel. Galvanized is a frequently used cost-effective anti-corrosion method, half of the world's zinc production for this process.

Galvanized sheet and cold rolled sheet are more common in the production of life sheet, then galvanized sheet and cold rolled sheet of these two kinds of sheet and what is the difference?

First, what galvanized sheet and cold rolled sheet?

Galvanized sheet: galvanized sheet refers to the surface of a layer of zinc coated steel. Galvanized is a frequently used cost-effective anti-corrosion method, half of the world's zinc production for this process.

Cold Rolled Sheet: Cold rolled sheet is a product obtained by cold pressing hot rolled sheet. As a result of multiple rolling, its surface quality is better than hot-rolled sheet, after heat treatment, can get good mechanical properties.

Second, what are the differences between cold rolled sheet and galvanized sheet?

1, the plate is different

First of all, cold rolled sheet and galvanized sheet of the basic material is not the same, ordinary cold rolled sheet to go through a number of cold rolling, the quality of the surface is better than hot rolled sheet, after treatment to produce good mechanical properties. And galvanized sheet is more on the hard side, it is the material zinc plated on the surface of the metal, so they are completely different materials.

Galvanized sheet: hot-dip galvanized steel, electro-galvanized steel.

Cold rolled sheet: general cold rolled sheet, stamping grade cold rolled sheet, deep-drawn, extra deep-drawn and ultra-deep-drawn grade cold rolled sheet.

2, the physical properties of galvanized sheet and cold rolled sheet is also a difference.

Galvanized sheet: high strength and high ductility, has become a high-strength, well-formed stamping steel. Galvanized sheet is more heat-resistant, the quality of the surface is better, more economical and practical.

Cold rolled plate: high strength, high hardness, high surface finish, generally thin plate, can be used as stamping plate. Cold rolled plate tension is better, tensile performance above far more than galvanized sheet.

3, cold rolled sheet and galvanized sheet surface physical characteristics are not the same. Galvanized sheet is divided into white and black, although their hardness is almost the same, but their performance drive is very different.

4, generally galvanized sheet will not be treated again after use, and cold rolled sheet after use also need to do a layer of paint on the surface, otherwise the cold rolled sheet will oxidize, galvanized sheet is less susceptible to oxidation than cold rolled sheet.

5, cold rolled sheet and galvanized sheet between the process is different

Galvanized sheet: galvanized sheet is a galvanized process through the steel surface coated with a layer of zinc and made of alloy products.

Cold rolled sheet: cold rolled coil is hot rolled as raw material, its production process usually after raw material preparation, cold rolling, heat treatment, leveling and finishing processes.

Cold rolled plate in the process of making the surface quality is better, higher finish, can meet some special requirements, while galvanized plate is made of steel, relatively speaking, more economical.
